Role & seniority: Test Technician, mid-level (5–7 years electrical/quality experience; or equivalent military; 10+ years with HS diploma)
Stack/tools: custom software; oscilloscopes; multi-meters; test fixtures; wiring/installation knowledge; PC/Office apps; basic electrical schematics and engineering prints
Perform proactive QA to ensure products meet design records and UL standards (in-process and final testing)
Interface with UL LLC to manage UL files and ensure compliance; lead root-cause investigations and corrective actions on warranty/internal quality issues
Create/update test procedures; implement quality initiatives; recommend production/equipment/process improvements
Reading complex electrical schematics and specifications
Debugging and resolving quality issues in electrical circuits
Strong problem-solving, detail-oriented, self-starter; effective communicator
Quality systems knowledge; proficient PC skills
LEAN manufacturing knowledge
Familiarity with BACnet/IP and Modbus protocols
Experience building/repairing test fixtures; ability to document and maintain UL-related files
Location & work type: Full-time, onsite facility role; Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
