Role: Performance Tester/Engineer

Location: Raleigh, NC (2-3 days onsite a week)

Hands-on experience with performance testing tools: LoadRunner, JMeter, BlazeMeter

Proficiency in monitoring tools: Dynatrace, AWS CloudWatch, Splunk

Strong understanding of cloud platforms: AWS and Azure Technical expertise in Java and .NET applications

In-Scope Activities

Requirements Gathering & Validation

• Collaborate with business teams to gather and validate Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs).
• Identify business-critical scenarios and validate them against production usage or defined performance criteria.

Performance Test Planning & Execution

• Develop comprehensive performance test plans including monitoring strategies.
• Monitor application server metrics using APM tools like Dynatrace, AWS CloudWatch, and Splunk.

Benchmarking & Analysis

• Compare current application performance against production SLAs and previous releases.
• Conduct baseline tests for migration projects and validate against benchmark criteria before production rollout.

Performance Engineering

• Perform early performance testing and monitoring.
• Conduct root-cause analysis for performance defects and provide tuning recommendations.
• Support performance lifecycle testing (PLT) requests as per agreed count.
