Plan, execute, and document tests; lead design reviews, readiness reviews, risk management, and test/failure reviews

Manage cross-functional project planning, resource allocation, test metrics, and status; interact with Navy customers and program stakeholders
Must-have skills

Bachelor’s in engineering or physical sciences with 5+ years in systems/design engineering, or Master’s with 3+ years

2+ years of demonstrated project leadership

Active Secret clearance preferred (Secret eligibility); 25–30% travel

Effective writing/presentation skills; strong MS Office proficiency

We believe people should love what they do – in a Test Engineering role, you will be responsible for

Testing and integrating new technology into our family of USV products throughout the lifecycle of the program.

Leading a team of 2-4 test engineers including allocation and monitoring of daily tasking and overall responsibility for daily testing operations related to the program for which you are assigned.

Executing test engineering tasks – including (but not limited to) requirements analysis, design review support, test planning, readiness reviews, integration, verification, test/failure review board management, risk management, and engineering analysis.

Preparing and presenting test engineering work products – including (but not limited to) test plans, procedures, and reports to internal review teams and external customers.

Working cross functionally with project management, project engineering, and engineering functional leaders to provide project planning for test activities, resource allocation requests, test metrics tracking, and test status.

Serving as a resource to others within the department and the organization.

Interacting daily with US Navy customers, program managers, planners, and technicians.

Driving tasks to completion independently.

Education & Experience
-
Bachelor’s Degree in engineering (software, electrical, mechanical, systems, or computer engineering) or physical sciences and a minimum 5 years of experience in a systems engineering or design engineering role required OR
-
Master’s Degree in engineering or physical sciences with 3 or more years related experience.

2 years demonstrated project leadership experience preferred
Qualifications

Travel Required: 25%25 - 30%25 travel

Effective writing and presentation skills.

A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Visio).
