System design activities for automation interfaces to electrical equipment as directed by automation group lead
Design solutions per client requirements ensuring global design consistency across interfaces; FEED-phase automation interface designs
Follow up vendors and their technical documentation; manage engineering information for project progress; interface with other disciplines, suppliers, and client; produce engineering documents and data registers
Bachelor’s degree or higher
≥10 years’ experience in automation engineering on greenfield projects
≥6 years’ experience in automation design for electrical interfaces, including IEC 61850
Thorough knowledge of automation design and networks per standards: NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, IEC
Offshore survey experience
Strong English communication (oral/written); cooperative, independent, team player
Systematic, accurate, with focus on deadlines and quality
Offices across Norway/Scandinavia (Bergen, Stavanger, Oslo, Trondheim) and select European sites

System Design activities for Automation interface to electrical equipment as appointed by automation group lead Designing solutions according to Client requirements ensuring global design solutions across contractual interfaces Design of automation interface to Electrical equipment packages in a FEED phase Follow up vendors and vendor technical documentation, including planning of package engineering activities Ensure that vendor and engineering information required for progress of the work is identified and communicated to the project Interface to other disciplines, suppliers and client Perform and complete engineering documents and data registers Offshore survey may be required
Bachelor or higher Minimum 10 years’ experience from automation engineering in green field projects Minimum 6 years’ Experience from automation design for electrical interfaces, incl knowledge of IEC61850. Experience and thorough knowledge of automation design and networks according to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, and IEC
Efficient communicator, who communicate well in English - Both orally and in writing Cooperative working attitude and acceptance for multicultural team environment Ability to work independently as well as in team Systematic and accurate, with high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements Proactive, seeking advice and share own experiences with others
