Full Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer with strong experience in functional testing and exposure to test automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring software quality through thorough manual testing while also contributing to automation efforts to improve test efficiency and coverage.

Experience: 3–6 Years

Location: Ahmedabad

Education: UG: B.E / B.Tech or PG: MCA / M.Sc. IT (preferred)

Key Responsibilities Analyze business and functional requirements to create effective test scenarios Design, write, and execute functional test cases for web applications Perform smoke, sanity, regression, and system testing Identify, log, track, and verify defects using tools like Jira Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders Contribute to automation test scripts for regression and repetitive test cases Maintain and enhance existing automation test suites Participate in sprint planning, requirement reviews, and retrospectives Prepare test execution reports and quality metrics Requires Skill and Qualifications 3–6 years of experience in Functional / Manual Testing Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC Hands-on experience in writing detailed test cases and test scenarios Experience with API testing using Postman / RestAssured

Exposure to test automation tools/frameworks such as

• Selenium / Playwright / Cypress
• Robot Framework (preferred)
• Programming or scripting knowledge in Java / JavaScript / Python (any one)
• Experience with defect tracking tools like Jira
• Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies
• Good To Have
• Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
• Understanding of automation framework concepts (POM, data-driven testing)
• Experience testing cloud-based or SaaS applications
