Role Summary
The Senior Automation QA Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test solutions for complex, public-facing healthcare applications. The role requires strong experience in test automation frameworks, API testing, UAT support, and Agile QA practices, with the ability to collaborate closely with development and business teams.
Key Responsibilities
Automation Testing
Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts and frameworks Automate functional, regression, smoke, and integration tests Build automation solutions for web applications and REST APIs Tag and organize automated test suites for CI/CD execution
API & Microservices Testing
Develop automated tests for RESTful APIs and microservices Validate request/response payloads, status codes, and data integrity Integrate API automation with CI/CD pipelines using Git and Jenkins
UAT & Functional Testing Support
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities Translate business and functional requirements into test scenarios Execute manual tests where automation is not feasible Validate end-to-end workflows and downstream system integrations
Test Planning & Quality Assurance
Create and maintain test plans, automation coverage reports, and execution metrics Review test results and analyze failures Log, track, and retest defects using tools such as JIRA Participate in peer reviews and QA best practices
Performance & Non-Functional Testing (Plus)
Support performance and load testing activities Use tools such as JMeter, Gatling, BlazeMeter, or similar Assist in baseline performance validation
Required Qualifications
