We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer with strong experience in API testing and automation, preferably within retail or e-commerce environments. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Postman, JMeter, Java, and Rest Assured, along with hands-on knowledge of BDD frameworks, database testing, and Jira for test management. Experience testing retail systems such as order management, inventory, pricing, promotions, and payment integrations is highly desirable.
Perform API testing using Postman and JMeter to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability of retail and e-commerce applications. Develop and maintain API automation scripts using Java and Rest Assured for retail workflows such as cart, checkout, order fulfillment, and inventory updates. Implement and work with BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber) to create automated test scenarios aligned with retail business requirements. Create and execute test cases, log defects, and track them to closure using Jira. Collaborate closely with development and product teams to identify, reproduce, and resolve issues in retail systems and integrations. Validate and query data in MongoDB and PostgreSQL, ensuring accuracy across orders, customers, products, and transactions. Contribute to test strategy, planning, and continuous improvement, with a focus on retail quality standards and customer experience.
