Environmental Air Systems, a full-service mechanical contractor, is seeking Pipe Testers to join our manufacturing shop in High Point, North Carolina. In this role you will use a torque wrench to test steel pipes. This position is available on first shift. Benefits: Weekly Pay Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance 401(k) with a generous company match Free Basic Life Insurance Short & Long-Term Disability Schedule: 6:00am-4:30pm with OT as necessary Location: 250 Swathmore Ave, High Point, NC 27263 Responsibilities: Climb ladders Use a torque wrench on up to 700 lbs of steel pipe Handle material Work safely and adhere to all safety rules and policies Work in a fast-paced team environment Education Requirements/Qualifications: Reading and speaking proficiency in either English or Spanish required Minimum of a high school education or equivalent Previous experience in a manufacturing or construction environment preferred Job Requirements/Special Skills: Ability to speak and read either English or Spanish required Ability to read a tape measure required Ability to read blueprints preferred Ability to work independently and on a team Strong verbal communication skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to stoop, bend, crawl, and climb ladders throughout the shift Ability to stand and work for prolonged periods of time Ability to work in conditions of varying heat and cold where noise levels are at or above 90 decibels EAS is the leading HVAC Volumetric Modular Manufacturer and the # 1 Mechanical Contractor in the Southeastern United States.
