Role & seniority: Manager, Quality Assurance (Retail Tech); focus on in-store systems and testing governance within global retail tech

YOUR MISSION We are seeking a Manager Quality Assurance Retail Tech to strengthen our Global Retail technology landscape. You will oversee and own day-to-day testing activities for retail related projects and processes. This position plays a critical role in supporting retail operations, driving continuous improvements implementation, enabling future growth through new products enablement & features introduction and infrastructure-related upgrades of our in-store system landscape. This role focuses on establishing, maintaining and executing of high-quality testing standards and procedures for in-store systems and processes (Point‑of‑Sale, Payments, OMNI and others) to build best-in-class in-store experience for PUMA customers. You will work closely with DTC Business Team, Tech Project and Tech Operations, ERP, and other internal and external partners to ensure that all products, processes or systems are reliable, meet quality standards, and enabled on time to support seamless in-store experience. Quality Assurance & Operational Support Deliver quality assurance and testing services for DTC Retail Tech operations and project teams. Ensure compliance with testing standards and operational excellence across all environments. Perform System Integration Testing across relevant integrated systems and interfaces. Contribute from testing perspective into release management stream to ensure latest solutions versions are ready for enablement in production. POS Test Lab Management Maintain, manage, and ensure high availability of test environments in-person and remotely. Control, stage and configure test equipment, including hardware and software. Support business users during UAT testing and coordinate ad-hoc tasks related to testing and troubleshooting. Communicate effectively with stakeholders and resolve technical issues in collaboration with internal/external teams. Automation & Process Improvement Identify and implement automation solutions for test lab operations. Enhance test environment landscape through automation scripts and modern testing approaches. Promote a strong test culture and continuous improvement mindset. Documentation & Knowledge Develop and sustain comprehensive documentation for staging, troubleshooting, and process guidelines. Contribute to knowledge sharing and training for internal teams. Manage and maintain test sets and test scenarios, ensuring they are complete, up to date, and aligned with current integrations and solution portfolio. Project & Initiative Support Provide end-to-end support for DTC Retail Tech initiatives and business projects. Ensure timely hardware setup and execution of agreed scope. Collaborate closely with project teams and business users to meet project objectives. YOUR TALENT Technical & Functional Skills Strong expertise in quality assurance governance, testing strategy definition, and execution across retail tech landscapes. Deep understanding of POS ecosystems, in-store system architectures, and test lab environment management. Experience managing test environments including hardware staging, peripherals validation, and release readiness coordination. Strong knowledge of end-to-end testing processes including system, integration, regression, and UAT support. Ability to analyze system behavior, troubleshoot technical issues, review logs, and drive root cause resolution across multiple systems. Understanding of retail operational workflows and in-store business processes supporting reliable customer store experiences. Preferred Experience Experience managing POS test labs or complex multi-system testing environments supporting global retail operations. Experience working with ERP systems, POS vendors, and third-party technology partners. Experience supporting retail IT rollout initiatives, infrastructure upgrades or hardware implementations/replacements. Experience implementing automation solutions to improve test environment provisioning, test execution, and operational efficiency. Familiarity with modern testing approaches, continuous testing concepts. Experience building documentation standards, staging procedures, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge transfer frameworks. Strong stakeholder communication skills with ability to coordinate between business users, project teams, vendors, and technical teams.
