Project Role: Quality Engineering Lead (Test Lead) Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution. Must have skills : C++ Programming Language Good to have skills : NA Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education We are looking for a Senior ProC Developer with strong expertise in developing and maintaining applications that integrate C programming with Oracle databases using ProC. The ideal candidate will lead complex development efforts, optimize database interactions, and mentor junior team members while ensuring high performance and reliability. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain applications using ProC for Oracle database integration. Write efficient embedded SQL within C programs for data manipulation and retrieval. Optimize SQL queries, PL/SQL blocks, and ProC code for performance and scalability. Collaborate with DBAs and application teams to ensure seamless integration. Debug and resolve complex issues related to database connectivity, cursor management, and transaction handling. Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and ensure compliance with coding standards. Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance. Work on performance tuning, memory management, and error handling in ProC applications. Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in C programming and embedded SQL using ProC. Deep understanding of Oracle database architecture, SQL, and PL/SQL. Experience with cursors, bind variables, and dynamic SQL in ProC. Familiarity with transaction management, error handling, and exception handling. Knowledge of performance tuning techniques for both C and SQL code. Exposure to Unix/Linux environments, shell scripting, and makefiles. Proficiency in version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to lead technical discussions and mentor team members. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Experience with large-scale enterprise applications using ProC. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Exposure to performance profiling tools and debugging utilities. Experience Level 8+ years of professional experience in Pro*C development and Oracle database integration.
