What we’re looking for
Nexamp is looking to hire an IT Systems & Automation Engineer. In this role, you will design, build, and operate scalable IT systems and automations that improve endpoint management, user lifecycle workflows, and operational efficiency across Nexamp. This role bridges Infrastructure, Support, and Security by translating business needs into reliable, repeatable technical solutions.
We are accepting candidates across our hub offices of Boston, MA, and Lawrence, MA, where you will be hybrid. You will report to the Director, IT.
What you’ll do
Design and implement endpoint management, provisioning, and lifecycle workflows across Windows, macOS, and mobile devices.
Own and evolve automation solutions supporting onboarding, offboarding, RBAC, asset management, and access changes.
Serve as the primary technical owner for endpoint and workflow platforms (e.g., ManageEngine, Intune, Power Automate, Jira Assets), leading design, configuration, and optimization.
Proactively deliver automation and system improvements that eliminate manual work, reduce ticket volume, and improve SLA performance in partnership with IT Support.
Collaborate with Security to ensure automations and device configurations align with access control and baseline standards.
Document and operationalize solutions so they are supportable, auditable, and transferable.
Own escalation for complex endpoint and workflow incidents, driving root‑cause analysis, coordinated response, and timely resolution.
What you’ll bring
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
4–7 years of experience with endpoint management platforms (MDM/UEM), automation tooling (scripting, Azure runbooks, Power Automate), and identity-driven provisioning concepts (RBAC, group-based licensing).

Compensation
The reasonably estimated salary for this role at Nexamp ranges from $120,000 - $132,000. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual bonus programs based on individual and company performance, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans). Additionally, you may be eligible to participate in the Company’s stock option plan. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but is not limited to, skills and qualifications, internal equity, performance, and geographic location.
