Job Title – Consumer Goods (CG) QA Engineer / Senior QA Experience – 4 Yrs – 8 Yrs Employment Type – Full Time Qualification – B.E./ B.Tech / MCA (Full Time) Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Consumer Goods (CG) QA professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of Consumer Goods Cloud implementations, trade promotion management, retail execution, and related integrations. This role involves working closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, and business stakeholders to understand functional requirements and ensure comprehensive testing coverage across CG processes. Key Responsibilities: · Test Planning and Design: Collaborate with business analysts and developers to understand CG functional requirements including TPM, retail execution, distributor management, and claims processing. Create detailed test plans, test scenarios, and test cases aligned to business processes. Design and develop test scripts for functional, system, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing. · Test Execution: Execute test cases for Consumer Goods Cloud applications, custom developments, and third-party integrations. Perform end-to-end testing across TPM lifecycle, promotions, pricing, order management, claims, and settlement processes. Validate data flows between CG systems and integrated platforms (ERP, DMS, POS, etc.). Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools and ensure timely resolution. Perform regression testing to ensure existing CG functionalities are unaffected by new changes. Support mobile testing for retail execution applications (iOS and Android). · Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle. Participate in requirement walkthroughs, grooming sessions, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups. Provide regular status updates, defect reports, and quality metrics to stakeholders. Coordinate and support UAT with business users. · Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with Consumer Goods Cloud enhancements and industry best practices. Recommend and implement improvements to QA processes, automation frameworks, and testing tools. Contribute to test automation initiatives where applicable. Qualifications: · Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. · Experience: 4+ years of experience in QA with exposure to Consumer Goods Cloud / Trade Promotion Management / Retail Execution solutions. Experience in functional, integration, and regression testing within CG domain. Understanding of CG business processes including promotions, pricing, claims, settlements, distributor management, and retail execution. Experience in mobile testing (iOS and Android) for field sales applications. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA, Confluence, ADO, etc. · Skills: Strong understanding of Consumer Goods business processes. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
