Job Summary
Are you interested in Network Automation or have you already begun that journey? Are you interested in applying modern automation practices to the domain of networking? Itential's software portfolio focuses exclusively on multi-domain network automation and orchestration! We are looking for a Network Automation Engineer Level 1 to join our Professional Services team. In this customer facing role, you'll follow guidance from a Network Automation Architect as you build solutions using Itential software and other industry standard automation techniques such as Ansible Playbooks and Python scripting. You'll leverage and grow your technical expertise to create and deploy Itential Platform solutions that meet clients' needs across network use cases such as switching and routing, firewalls, software upgrades, load balancers, and cloud networks. Success in this role requires strong communication skills and a proactive approach to customer satisfaction.
Essential Functions
Lead customer projects during their implementation of Itential software as they build automation and orchestration across their multi-domain networks Engage with customers to build and implement use cases that focus on customer priorities Develop automation and orchestration assets for customers using Itential software and other tools such as: Python, Ansible, Jinja2 templating, and Terraform
Integrating into systems such as: Infoblox, ServiceNow, AWS, NetBox, F5, Cisco, VeloCloud, VMware, and Arista Continuous growth as Network Automation and Orchestration experts in Itential software and the larger network automation landscape Deliver Professional Services projects in a way that enables our customers growth and success in our tools to ensure a strong ROI Collaborate with internal Itential resources helping across other projects, customers issues, product feedback, customer journey processes

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in information technology, telecommunication, computer science, or a related field required
3+ years in Network Automation required
Proficiency in Ansible, Linux, Python scripting, Jinja2, REST APIs, JSON, SSH, Git, and Pipelines Understanding of network devices and configurations across firewalls, switches, routers, cloud networks, load balancers, etc. (e.g., Palo Alto, F5, Cisco, Arista) Familiarity with infrastructure and change management platforms such as Infoblox, NetBox, and ServiceNow Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively work with clients Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and delivering automation opportunities Strong organizational skills with a commitment to delivering quality solutions
