Full Description

We are seeking two (2) Business Analysts with hands-on Quality Assurance experience to support application development and enhancement initiatives for a city agency in Philadelphia. These are local, onsite roles in Downtown, Philadelphia.

These positions require direct experience gathering and documenting business, functional, and data requirements; creating detailed workflow and system diagrams; communicating requirements to technical teams; executing functional and regression testing; leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT); and providing post-deployment onsite support.

These are dual-role positions. The selected candidates will be responsible for both business analysis and application testing. All listed qualifications are required.

RESPONSIBILITIES Schedule and conduct meetings to gather, analyze, and document business and software requirements from stakeholders. Translate business needs into user stories, use cases, functional specifications, data requirements, and detailed test cases. Create and maintain diagrams including process flows, state diagrams, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, swim lanes, and wireframes. Act as liaison between business users and IT teams. Clearly document and communicate requirements and data flows to developers and testers. Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure solutions align with documented requirements. Perform functional and regression testing. Convert documented requirements into structured test cases. Conduct walkthroughs and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Develop training documentation, train end users, and provide onsite support following application releases. Work independently and contribute effectively within team environments on complex projects with demanding timelines.
