Strong communication with stakeholders, developers, testers; ability to work independently and in teams
Familiarity with SharePoint Online, Teams, GitLab/JIRA, Balsamiq, and Visio
Nice-to-haves

Software Methods is seeking a Business/QA Analyst Lead for a 24+ month contract opportunity at our client in Center City Philadelphia, PA. This is an hybrid opportunity supporting normal work hours. Only local candidates are being considered.
The Business Analyst is responsible for collecting and documenting requirements to build new application/enhance existing application. The Analyst meets with Stakeholder to understand business processes and their needs, translates them to business/functional/Data requirement document; create workflow diagram, communicates requirements and data flow to technical staff. They work with Developers to get the requirements implemented. They will be responsible to test the application, conduct UAT, and provide post deployment On-Site Support.
Proficient in creating various Diagrams: Process Flows, State, Activity, Sequence, Swim lanes, Wireframes etc. Act as a Liaison between business users and IT Teams. Proficient in doing Walkthroughs and User Acceptance Testing. Proficient in creating Training Documents Training users and providing support after a release. Collaborate with Developers and QA to ensure solution align with business Goals. Maintains professional composure while communicating clearly with stakeholders, developers, and testers. Ability to test applications both functional Testing and regression Testing. Ability to convert Requirements into Test cases. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including Ability to work with subject matter experts to address their needs Communicating with software developers, business analysts, and testers succinctly. Demonstrated experience working on teams of varying sizes on complex projects and demanding timelines. Demonstrated ability to work alone on projects from start to finish.
