Full Description
We are seeking two (2) Business Analysts with hands-on Quality Assurance experience to support application development and enhancement initiatives for a city agency in Philadelphia. These are local, onsite roles in Downtown, Philadelphia.
The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to understand processes and needs, translate them into clear functional and data requirements, create workflow diagrams, support development efforts, perform functional and regression testing, lead UAT, and provide post-deployment support. Local candidates only.
Key Responsibilities Schedule and lead meetings to gather, analyze, and document business and software requirements. Translate business needs into user stories, use cases, functional specifications, data requirements, and test cases. Create process flow diagrams, state/activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, swimlane diagrams, and wireframes. Clearly communicate requirements and data flows to developers, QA teams, and stakeholders. Serve as a liaison between business users and IT teams. Perform functional and regression testing. Convert business requirements into detailed test cases. Conduct walkthroughs and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Develop training materials and conduct end-user training. Provide post-release and on-site support as needed. Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure solutions align with business objectives.
Required Qualifications Proven experience as a Business Analyst with hands-on QA/testing responsibilities. Strong experience gathering and documenting business and technical requirements. Experience working independently and managing projects end-to-end. Experience working on complex projects with demanding timelines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
