Infrastructure Automation Engineer Up to £80K, Corsham (Hybrid) - SC Cleared We're seeking an experienced Infrastructure Automation Engineer to support a secure defence platform programme. You'll design and deliver zero-touch, production-grade automation solutions across enterprise infrastructure using Python3, Ansible and Bash, working within an Agile technical team.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build and validate infrastructure automation components Reverse engineer manual or legacy build processes into parameterised, repeatable automation Develop complex Python3 automation for production environments Automate server, network and storage deployments across multi-vendor platforms Integrate with external REST/SOAP APIs Produce high-quality code using Git/BitBucket and participate in peer reviews Support system testing and resolve technical issues with Service Management

Skills & Experience

Hands-on experience with Python3 automation in production environments Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet or Chef) Strong Bash scripting skills Experience deploying and supporting large-scale infrastructure environments Troubleshooting hardware and software issues Experience working in Agile teams Active SC OR DV Clearance (essential) This is a great opportunity to join a high-profile defence programme delivering secure, enterprise-scale infrastructure automation.
