Role Description
This is a full-time remote position for a TAB (Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing) Specialist. The TAB Specialist will be responsible for conducting field testing, evaluating HVAC systems, collecting and analyzing data, and ensuring effective operation and energy efficiency in building systems. Daily tasks include collaborating with project teams, preparing reports, troubleshooting system inconsistencies, and providing recommendations for performance improvement. The role also involves utilizing specialized tools and software to achieve accurate and reliable results.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing (TAB) of HVAC systems, including hands-on field experience Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills to interpret data and ensure system optimization Effective written and verbal communication skills to prepare detailed reports and interact with team members and clients Ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating effectively in a team environment Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and practices related to HVAC systems Proficiency in using TAB instruments and related software tools Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field is preferred Relevant certifications, such as NEBB or AABC, are highly desirable
Must be able to meet the following experience qualifications: a combination of education and experience (e.g., Bachelor’s + 2 years, Associate’s + 4 years, or 6-8 years experience)
Compensation: $90K-$130k DOE.
Travel: Travelling about 30 %, you will have access to a company card and per diems for travels.
