About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance / DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in both functional and automation testing, who thrives in agile environments and is passionate about delivering high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute automated and manual test cases across backend, UI, and database layers. Perform integration testing for REST/SOAP APIs and event-driven systems using Kafka or MQ. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to analyse requirements, identify test scenarios, and ensure comprehensive test coverage. Conduct regression testing, track defects, and ensure timely resolution. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and support DevOps practices to streamline testing and deployment. Champion agile testing best practices and participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

5–8 years of hands-on experience in both functional and automation testing. Strong proficiency in backend, UI, and database testing. Experience testing REST/SOAP services and Kafka/MQ-based applications. Solid understanding of requirements analysis, test case creation, regression testing, and defect tracking. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Proficient in Java or Kotlin. Experience with build tools like Maven or Gradle. Hands-on experience with BDD testing frameworks. Cloud based qualification. AI/Copilot
