Role Overview We are hiring a Systems & Automation Engineer to help us design, build, and improve internal systems while supporting client integration projects when needed. This is primarily an internal automation role focused on building leverage across the organization — improving workflows, integrating tools, and embedding AI into real operational processes. You’ll work across backend systems, APIs, AI tools, and spreadsheet-based workflows to turn manual processes into scalable systems. What You’ll Work On Internal Systems & Workflow Automation Design and improve internal workflow systems Automate operational processes across teams Refactor manual or fragile workflows into structured, scalable solutions Build internal tools with clean, intuitive interfaces

AI & Custom GPT Development Build and maintain internal custom GPTs using OpenAI or Anthropic Integrate LLM APIs into operational workflows Implement retrieval-based systems (RAG) where appropriate Improve prompt reliability, consistency, and cost efficiency Identify practical opportunities to apply AI internally Client Integration Engineering Implement API integrations for client projects Connect systems such as CRMs, payment platforms, databases, and automation tools Support clients with technical implementation when required Excel & Spreadsheet Automation Improve and automate Excel-driven workflows Work with advanced formulas and data models (VBA/macros a plus) Integrate spreadsheet-based processes with backend systems when needed What We’re Looking For 2–5 years of professional software engineering experience Strong full-stack fundamentals (frontend + backend) Experience working with APIs and system integrations Practical experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar LLM APIs Familiarity with prompt engineering and basic RAG concepts Comfort working with Excel-based workflows (VBA preferred but not mandatory) Strong problem-solving and systems thinking Ability to work independently and take ownership Strong written and spoken English communication skills (client-facing capability required) Nice to Have Startup or fast-paced environment experience Experience building internal operational tools Familiarity with automation platforms (Zapier, Make, etc.) Good UI/UX intuition for internal software Who This Role Is For You enjoy building practical systems that solve real business problems.
