Network Automation Engineer – Remote (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane)
We’re seeking an experienced Network Automation Engineer to join a team transforming how operational technology and network systems are managed. This is a unique opportunity to work in cutting-edge OT and building technology environments, bringing automation and CI/CD practices to complex networks that power commercial, retail, residential, and industrial facilities.
What You’ll Do Design, implement, and maintain network automation solutions in CI/CD-driven environments. Work with tools like NetBox, Nautobot, or LibreNMS to manage and monitor networks. Automate provisioning, configuration, and monitoring workflows. Partner with engineering teams to streamline deployment processes and enhance network reliability. Drive innovation in network automation and OT integration.
What We’re Looking For Strong network engineering experience (routing, switching, infrastructure). Hands-on experience as a Network Automation Engineer or in a NetDevOps role. Familiarity with NetBox, Nautobot, or LibreNMS. Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines for network automation. Knowledge of Ansible is a plus. Problem-solving mindset with a collaborative approach.
Location & Eligibility Remote, Australia – must be based in Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane. Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident. Sponsorship is not provided.
