About The Role

We are looking for a proactive and communicative Quality Engineer who is passionate about delivering high-quality software and continuously improving testing practices. This role requires someone who is not just an executor of test cases, but an engaged team member who asks questions, identifies risks early, and actively contributes to product quality from day one.

The ideal candidate has solid experience in both manual and automation testing, exposure to mobile testing, and hands-on experience with modern tools like Playwright. Strong communication skills and a growth mindset are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Playwright and others . Identify, execute and document manual test cases for new features, regression cycles, and exploratory testing. Participate actively in backlog refinement, sprint planning, and design discussions to ensure testability. Validate APIs, backend integrations and database as part of end-to-end testing. Coordinate and collaborate with other product teams to ensure E2E quality. Perform mobile testing (iOS/Android), ensuring usability, responsiveness, and stability. Support deployment validation and post-release verification in staging and production environments. Document test plans, test strategies, and quality processes clearly and thoroughly. Identify risks early, raise concerns proactively, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues efficiently. Contribute to improving QA standards, automation coverage, and CI/CD quality gates.

Required Qualifications

You must reside in Latin America. 4–6+ years of experience in Quality Engineering or Software Testing. Hands-on experience in test automation, with modern testing frameworks. Strong experience in manual testing, including exploratory and regression testing. Familiarity with mobile application testing (native or cross-platform). Experience validating REST APIs and understanding HTTP protocols. Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and deployment validation processes. Strong documentation skills (test plans, test cases, release notes, defect reports). Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal). Proactive mindset with eagerness to learn new tools and technologies.
