Monitor and audit standards of person-served care and the overall quality of the EHR

Ensure QA standards are up to date and compliant with licensing/accrediting policies; lead infection control, medical records, and quality improvement activities

Collaborate with the QA committee and facility programs to drive performance improvement and regulatory compliance
Must-have skills

Degree in a health-related field or two years of health care education

At least one year of medical records and/or quality improvement experience

Experience with health care agencies/regulatory bodies; ability to analyze performance data and implement QA plans

Knowledge of Title 9, Title 22, OSHA, HCAI, HIPAA, and CARF
Nice-to-haves

Title: Quality Assurance/Medical Records Coordinator
Job Duties: The Quality Assurance/Medical Records Coordinator plays an integral part in the overall functioning of the facility by monitoring and auditing the identified standards of person-served care as well as the quality of the entire electronic health record. The Quality Assurance/Medical Records Coordinator will ensure quality improvement standards are up to date and in compliance with the facility's level of care. This position encompasses aspects of staff development, infection control, medical records, and quality improvement to effectively collaborate with the QA committee and program at the facility level. The Quality Assurance/Medical Records Coordinator is responsible for monitoring overall compliance with these aspects as they relate to current licensing and accrediting policies and regulations.
Schedule
Full-Time: Monday-Friday (7:00 AM to 3:30 PM)
Qualifications
A degree in a health-related field and/or two years’ experience in health care education. A minimum of one year’s experience in medical records and/or quality improvement is preferred. Experience working with health care agencies and/or regulatory agencies. Knowledge of Title 9, 22, OSHA, HCAI, HIPAA, and CARF. Ability to engage in performance improvement data collection, analysis, and implementation of QA plans.

The salary range listed below represents the minimum and maximum base pay per hour at the time of posting. Final salary offered to the candidate selected for the position will be based on factors including but not limited to candidate's skills, experience, licensure, and program acuity.
