Job Summary
Responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts for complex healthcare applications, ensuring accuracy, compliance, data integrity, and excellent user experience in a regulated environment.
Essential Functions
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, data, and backend systems, focusing on healthcare payor workflows (member, eligibility, claims, billing, member management, etc.) Collaborate with analysts, subject matter experts, product owners and developers to understand requirements and translate them into comprehensive strategies, test plans, test scenarios and test cases. Manage defects using ServiceNow and Microfocus ALM. Conduct manual and automated regression, integration, and end-to-end testing for new and existing functionality-features. Write complex SQL queries for data validation, especially in multi-database environments. Integrate automated test into CI-CD pipelines for continuous testing and deployment. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. Document test scenarios, test cases, results, and quality metrics; provide timely feedback to stakeholders.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering_General
Experience
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, similar technical field of study, or related practical experience. 3+ years of QA automation experience, with at least 1 year in healthcare preferred.
