Our client a leading Multinational Semiconductor Company requires Senior Staff IC SoC Verification Engineer for a leading Multinational Power Company based in Cork or Limerick, Ireland.
You will join a growing team in Cork or Limerick, Ireland, that is involved in development of integrated circuits at the heart of modern power systems.
In this position, the successful candidate will work with an experienced team and be exposed to the entire product lifecycle. This is an important role full of possibility to architect and develop an end-to-end verification solution, spanning the product lifecycle from definition and requirements through IC design, hardware emulation and silicon support.

Design and development of a unified verification architecture for power products. Design and specification of testbench and verification IP Construction of testbench environments to align with unified verification strategy. Creation of full-system test-plans with an emphasis on test-case portability through the product lifecycle. Responsibility for product verification planning, execution, status and coverage. Maintenance of engineering documents in accordance with quality processes. Structured tracking and implementation of design improvements. Compliance with any requirements set out by product safety manager. Usage of continuous integration tools for test-case integration and automation. Support for test-engineering, product engineering and operations as well as participation in ATE data reviews, limit reviews and device yield analysis.
PhD, post-graduate or degree qualification in Electronic Engineering or similar. 10+ years’ experience as verification engineer in ASIC/SOC environments. Experience of full-product verification flows, including HW, SW, FW etc. Experience of IC verification and methodologies for automotive markets Knowledge of ISO26262. Detailed knowledge of OVM/UVM methodology Knowledge of Verilog, System Verilog and Verilog A-MS Experience with verification of embedded processor systems. Experience and knowledge of power conversion. Experience with Cadence EDA tools. Self-motivated, individual contributor with strong problem solving skills. Experience of working in wide-ranging roles and flexible environments. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills. The ability to work with cross-functional teams.
