The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance, test automation, and software development. This role involves designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the highest level of product quality. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for various applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and create test plans. Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and ensure product quality. Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and tools. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve test coverage and quality. Investigate and troubleshoot issues in automated test scripts and test environments. Continuously improve test processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Document test cases, test results, and provide regular reports on test coverage and quality metrics. Supports the execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Builds effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders. Breaks down strategic problems, and analyses data and information to provide insights and recommendations Leads initiatives. Able to coordinate resources and manage problems to resolution when necessary. Qualifications: Typically, 4-7 years of work experience in IT or business environment and/or BS/BA or MBA/MS in computer science, engineering, information systems, math or business. Proven experience in quality assurance and test automation. Problem solving skills including the ability to troubleshoot and identify problem areas throughout testing. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#. Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG). Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. Collaborate well with others. Ability to translate technical concepts into easy to understand terms. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Knowledge of performance testing and security testing. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git). Salesforce knowledge an asset Salary: $75,900.00 - $141,900.00 Pay Type: Salaried The above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type. Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked.
