Role & seniority: QA/Test Engineer, 2–4 years experience
Stack/tools: Quality Center (test management), JIRA or Bugzilla (defect management), SQL (basic queries)
Create and maintain Requirement Traceability Matrix for tests
Select test cases appropriate for automation; drive automation suitability
Execute SIT & UAT; report defects and track defect aging with developers/BA/IT
Proficiency in test planning, test case derivation, and proactive test execution
Defect logging and discussion, risk identification and mitigation
Strong verbal/written communication; logical thinking; self-starter and team player
SQL knowledge; basic database queries
Experience with test management and defect management tools

Proficient in creating Requirement Traceability Matrix for Tests designed Proficient in Selection of Test cases, rightly suitable for Automation considering automation selection criteria’s Need to be proficient in Performing SIT & UAT Test Execution Should report Defects & follow up with Developers / BA IT for defect fixation with defect ageing tracking SLA Should have good verbal and written communication skills along with strong Logical thinking Must be a good learner and self-starter, and also a team player Willingness to travel and work at various customer sites
Requirements
Preferred exposure in Health Insurance/Motor Insurance/ Travel Insurance/Property and Casualty Minimum 2 - 4 years of experience in core Software testing Should be able to prepare scenarios and derive test cases from the same Should be proactive in test cases execution, defect discussion, defect logging, risk identification and mitigation Knowledge of writing SQL queries, databases and running of basic SQL queries Should have hands on experience on Test Management (like Quality Center) and Defect Management tools like (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.)
Education: Any graduate with IT background
