Role & seniority: Test Team Coordinator (mid-level engineering role; lead-in testing coordination)
Stack/tools: Electrical engineering focus; AC/DC power, 3-phase circuits; digital/electronic circuitry; standard electrical instruments; test equipment; computer/record systems (digital and manual test records, system repository); safety protocols (SOJT, QEW)
Ensure health and safety, and maintain continuous production flow by relieving bottlenecks
Oversee day-to-day department activities; verify, document, and upload test results; assist fault diagnosis and remedial actions
Provide training, troubleshoot hardware/software in automated test systems, perform test validation, and keep Test Supervisor informed; recommend procedure changes
Associate degree in electrical engineering or equivalent; 3–5 years in test engineering for electrical-based products
Knowledge of AC power, DC batteries, 3-phase circuits; digital/electronic circuitry; ability to use standard electrical instruments
Leadership and communication; ability to direct other technicians; professional customer-relations demeanor; self-directed problem-solving
Experience with automated test systems and software/hardware troubleshooting in testing environments
Familiarity with Liebert/UPS products and related QA/QC processes; experience with SOJT-based training

Short Description for Internal Candidates The Test Tech Lead works in a high-power environment and will be at the heart of maintaining the highest standards of safety, accuracy, and performance in our testing processes. The Test Team Coordinator is primarily responsible for ensuring continuous production flow in testing by relieving bottlenecks within the department. Filling in positions as needed, identifying product/technical solutions and/or notifying Supervisors that solutions are needed. By assisting and working closely with Test Supervisors and with colleagues across production and quality teams.
