Role & seniority: Engine/test validation engineer (early-to-mid level) at INNIO; practical engineering role with emphasis on verification/validation activities.
Stack/tools: Reciprocating engine technology; DFMEA; DVP&R; test bench planning/infrastructure; parameter management; engine calibration; technical reporting; V-model and agile (Scrum) development practices; English and German communication.
Conduct verification and validation activities for assigned platforms, ensuring alignment with requirements and standards.
Develop/execute validation plans, coordinate with system owners, apply DFMEA for risk mitigation, and analyze results.
Plan/test bench equipment, ensure specs compliance, prepare/present validation reports; collaborate with engineering to align priorities.
Degree in Mechanical Engineering (HTL/BSc/MSc or equivalent).
First experience in engine/component test and validation; familiarity with combustion engines preferred.
Knowledge of DFMEA, DVP&R, engine calibration, parameter management; analytical, proactive, capable of technical presentations.
Proficient in English; fluent in German; willing to travel; legal work authorization for Austria.
Experience with development models (V-model, Scrum); participation in Formula Student or related hobby projects (cars, motorcycles, agricultural machinery).
