Perform verification and validation activities for assigned platforms, ensuring alignment with requirements and standards
Develop and execute validation plans, coordinate with system owners, apply DFMEA for risk mitigation, and prepare comprehensive reports
Plan test bench equipment/infrastructure, analyze results, and collaborate with engineering to align technical needs and priorities

Must-have skills

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
First experience in engine/component test and validation
Knowledge of reciprocating engine technology, software integration, engine calibration, parameter management, DFMEA, DVP&R
Analytical, proactive, capable of technical presentations
Familiarity with V-model and agile methods
English and German language skills; willingness to travel
Legal work authorization for Austria

Your Responsibilities

Work on verification and validation activities for assigned platforms, ensuring alignment with requirements and standards
Develop and execute multiple validation plans, coordinate with system owners, and utilize DFMEA for risk mitigation
Plan test bench equipment and infrastructure, ensure compliance with test specifications, and analyze results
Prepare and present comprehensive validation reports
Collaborate with the engineering team to define technical needs and align with engineering priorities

Your Profile

HTL, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or similar specialization
First experience in engine/component test and validation techniques
Familiarity with reciprocating engine technology, software integration, engine calibration, parameter management, DFMEA, and DVP&R tools
Analytical and proactive working style, comfortable with technical presentations, and familiar with development models like V-model and agile methods (Scrum)
Experience with combustion engines preferred (e.g., job experience, Formula Student, hobbies like cars, motorcycles, agricultural machinery)
Strong oral and written communication skills in English; fluent in German
Willingness to travel
