Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Lead Test Automation professional to oversee and manage end-to-end QA automation efforts. This role involves hands-on automation work, team management, and coordination between onshore and offshore teams. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Selenium with Java, Cucumber, API testing, and CI/CD pipelines, along with familiarity with Agile delivery models and bug management tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end QA automation efforts.
• Manage 2–3 offshore team members.
• Perform 40–50% hands-on automation work.
• Delegate tasks to offshore resources.
• Coordinate between onshore client team and offshore testers.
• Utilize Selenium with Java for automation testing.
• Implement and work with Cucumber (BDD framework).
• Conduct API testing, preferably using Postman.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines for efficient delivery.
• Follow Agile delivery models.
• Utilize test lifecycle and bug management tools.
• Work with bug tracking tools such as Octane (previously QTest).

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on automation experience.
• Proficiency in Selenium with Java.
• Experience with Cucumber (BDD framework).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
• API testing experience, preferably with Postman.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery models.
• Exposure to test lifecycle and bug management tools.

Pay Range: $62 - $65/hr (W2 only) The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
