Job Summary

  • We are looking for a QA Technician with experience in geospatial analysis to support our team for a 3-month full-time contract, with the possibility of extension. This role involves analyzing over-ocean optical, SAR, and possibly hyperspectral imagery to ensure high-quality data for our AI/ML models. The job requires strong attention to detail and involves repetitive tasks to maintain accuracy. Your work will directly impact our model performance and product quality.

Responsibilities

Review and analyze remote sensing imagery for quality assurance Identify and correct errors or inconsistencies in imagery data Work with AI/ML teams to ensure data quality meets model requirements Follow standard procedures for image processing and validation Document findings and communicate any issues clearly

Qualifications

STEM degree (e.g., Remote Sensing, GIS, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science). (must have) Experience with AI/ML data annotation or image labeling. (nice-to-have) Familiarity with GIS tools (e.g., QGIS, ArcGIS) or remote sensing software. (nice-to-have) Knowledge of SAR and hyperspectral imagery. (nice-to-have) Attention to detail – Ability to perform repetitive tasks with high accuracy Technical background – Experience with remote sensing, GIS, or geospatial analysis Problem-solving skills – Ability to identify and fix data inconsistencies Ability to work independently and follow structured workflows
