About the Role

• We are looking for a passionate QA Tester Trainee who has a keen eye for detail and an eagerness to learn software testing methodologies. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our web and mobile applications through manual and automated testing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand and execute test cases for web and mobile applications.
• Perform manual testing to identify functional and UI issues.
• Assist in developing and maintaining automation test scripts.
• Participate in SDLC and STLC processes to ensure quality throughout the development cycle.
• Work with the development team to identify, document, and track bugs using bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Bugzilla).
• Perform regression testing and ensure timely reporting of issues.
• Prepare detailed test reports and documentation.
• Collaborate with developers and project managers to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Basic understanding of Manual and Automation Testing concepts.
• Familiarity with SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of bug tracking tools (like Jira, Trello, or Bugzilla).
• Basic understanding of automation tools (like Selenium or Postman).
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 2–6 months of internship or hands-on experience in software testing will be an added advantage.
