Design, set up, and execute tests to validate performance and reliability of laser systems and subsystems
Develop test plans, procedures, and protocols; perform hands-on functional, performance, and stress testing
Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, document findings, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions
Must-have skills
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Systems Engineering, Physics, or related field
Understanding of test engineering principles; ability to analyze and interpret test data
Experience with test/measurement tools (oscilloscopes, power meters, multimeters, beam profilers)
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team; proficient with Microsoft Office
Nice-to-haves
Coursework or experience in systems testing, quality assurance, or hardware validation
Familiarity with lab equipment used in laser/optical testing
Programming or scripting (Python, MATLAB) for automation or data analysis
Basic knowledge of laser safety protocols and photonics

As a Systems Test Engineering Intern, you will play a key role in supporting the testing, troubleshooting, and validation of our industrial laser systems. You will work closely with the systems engineering and development teams to ensure that our laser products meet performance specifications, safety standards, and customer requirements. This internship will allow you to apply your technical skills and grow your knowledge in system testing, laser technology, and quality assurance.
