Role Description
Designed, built, and maintained automation frameworks with Python, utilizing the Robot Framework. Developed and executed automated test scripts for web applications across various browsers. Implemented best practices including Page Object Model (POM), data-driven and hybrid frameworks. Understood and used JMeter for performance testing. Conducted automation feasibility analysis to identify suitable candidates for automation. Integrated automated tests into CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins and Git. Performed API automation and validation alongside UI automation when necessary. Analyzed automation failures, performed root cause analysis, and reported defects clearly. Collaborated closely with developers, QA, DevOps, and product teams during Agile ceremonies. Participated in code reviews to ensure high-quality and maintainable automation code. Mentored junior automation engineers and contributed to process improvements.
Primary Skills
Strong expertise in Robot Framework, including keywords, libraries, and custom keyword development. Proficient in Python for creating custom keywords. Hands-on experience with API testing, preferably using JMeter, and database validation. Experience with hybrid, data-driven, and Page Object Model automation frameworks.
Secondary Skills
Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Scrum teams. Exposure to cloud-based testing platforms, such as Azure.
