Role & seniority: Test Engineer, embedded systems sector (senior level)
Stack/tools: C, C++, Python; software test applications and automation; API and system-level testing; cryptography/security knowledge a plus
Develop and implement software test applications and automation for QTI security solutions on chipsets
Design and execute test plans to validate security protocols, algorithms, and their interactions with other applications
Perform hands-on testing at API and system levels; troubleshoot issues on embedded software platforms; collaborate with developers, system engineers, and testers
Minimum 6 years of software development experience in C, C++, and Python
Ability to work independently and as part of a team; strong communication skills
On-site presence in Cork (five days per week); right to work in Europe prior to start
Knowledge of cryptography and security protocols
Experience with embedded security testing (inference from role focus)

A Global semiconductor giant based in Cork are seeking to bolster their team with a talented Test Engineer to join the embedded team.
Please note this opportunity is based on-site in Cork and requires rights to work in Europe already in place before starting.
Develop and implement software test applications and automation for QTI security solutions on chipsets. Design and execute test plans to validate security protocols, algorithms, and their interactions with other applications. Perform hands-on testing at both API and system levels using C, C++, and Python. Troubleshoot issues and resolve problems on embedded software platforms during test execution. Collaborate effectively with developers, system engineers, and testers in a team environment while promoting diversity and inclusion.
Minimum 6 years of experience in software development using C, C++, and Python. Strong understanding of cryptography and security protocols is a plus. Ability to work independently while being a proactive team player. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to work onsite five days per week in the Cork office.
