Bachelor’s/Master/PhD in Engineering, CS, or related field with 4+ (Bachelor) / 3+ (Master) / 2+ (PhD) years software engineering experience
2+ years programming in C, C++, Python (and/or Java)
Experience designing/implementing automated tests; good verbal and written communication

Knowledge of cryptography and security protocols
Strong team player; ability to work with minimal supervision
Location & work type: Cork, Ireland; 5 days per week onsite; full-time role with relocation/immigration support if needed

Full Description

This is a Software Test Engineer position. In this role the candidate works on a team responsible for testing QTI security solutions on Qualcomm chipsets. The role involves a good mix of hands-on testing of the products and software development of test cases and automation using a combination of C/C++, Python and XML.
Please note this role will require 5 days per week onsite in our Cork office

Design test plan to validate security protocol and algorithm and its interaction with other applications.
Develop and implement test applications at both API level and system level using C and C++. Automating test cases in Python.
Test execution, troubleshooting and problem resolution on embedded software platforms
Interact in a team environment with developers, system engineers and testers

6 + years experience in C, C++ and Python.
