General Summary
This is a Software Test Engineer position. In this role the candidate works on a team responsible for testing QTI security solutions on Qualcomm chipsets. The role involves a good mix of hands-on testing of the products and software development of test cases and automation using a combination of C/C++, Python and XML.
Please note this role will require 5 days per week onsite in our Cork office*
Design test plan to validate security protocol and algorithm and its interaction with other applications. Develop and implement test applications at both API level and system level using C and C++. Automating test cases in Python. Test execution, troubleshooting and problem resolution on embedded software platforms Interact in a team environment with developers, system engineers and testers

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
