Systems Integration & Automation Engineer

Location: Flexible / Hybrid – North America

My client are a high-growth technology company operating at the cutting edge of sustainable high-performance compute — and they’re just getting started. With roots in Australia and operations now spanning across North America, they are building a global footprint and are looking for a Systems Integration & Automation Engineer to help us scale smarter and faster.

About the Role

This position plays a key role in enabling seamless, automated workflows across enterprise systems. You’ll be part of a small, high-impact team responsible for building reusable orchestration systems, automating manual processes, and ensuring that our internal teams can operate with efficiency and speed. You’ll work across a range of critical platforms, including ERP, CRM, HRIS, and other business systems, driving integration and data consistency as we continue to scale.

Key Responsibilities Design, build, and manage integrations between enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, HRIS, internal tools) Develop automations and orchestrations using tools such as n8n, Workato, Zapier, or Boomi Write and maintain custom scripts or applications (Python or JavaScript) to meet business-specific needs Ensure consistent, accurate data across systems through governance, transformation, and validation Manage and maintain APIs and middleware solutions to connect systems and streamline operations Provide technical support and act as a key contact for resolving integration issues Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify and deliver process improvements Use ticketing systems to track, manage, and resolve issues efficiently

What We're Looking For Experience with system integration and orchestration platforms (e.g., Zapier, Workato, n8n, Boomi, Airflow, Temporal) Strong development skills in Python, JavaScript, or similar languages Experience integrating enterprise platforms such as Microsoft 365, Entra ID, NetSuite, Workday, Salesforce, or HubSpot Understanding of data governance, architecture, and security best practices A proactive and adaptable mindset, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, scaling environment

Nice to Have Experience in startup or scale-up environments Familiarity with hybrid infrastructure (cloud and on-prem systems) Passion for automation, clean architecture, and continuous improvement
