Role & seniority: QA Engineer, minimum 5 years in QA with at least 2 years in a senior/lead capacity; serves as a point of contact for quality decisions and mentors junior QA resources.
Stack/tools: Quality Assurance practices, test strategy and plan development, test case design (positive/negative), test suite maintenance, defect tracking, progress reporting; interacts with Functional Leads, BAs, Solution Designers, and Developers.
Develop and refine testing scope, create comprehensive test scenarios, and build/maintain test suites with clear data and expected results.
Prioritize and execute tests based on risk/impact; identify, assess, and communicate changes’ impact; lead/participate in test strategy and plan definition.
mentor/peer-review QA work, report progress to QA leads, escalate risks affecting deadlines or quality, and provide client support/training as needed (possible travel).
5+ years QA experience, 2+ years in a senior role; strong ability to translate client needs into QA activities.
Detail-oriented, analytical, clear communicator; ownership and accountability for deliverables; stakeholder collaboration.
User-centric quality mindset; ability to balance multiple testing priorities; strong written/verbal communication.
French-English bilingual; experience in interface testing; knowledge of pension plan administration; ability to travel to Canada/US clients.

Testing & Quality Assurance
Communicate with Functional Leads, Business Analysts, Solution Designers, and Developers to drefine testing scope Analyze technical documents to identify test scenarios and develop positive and negative test cases Build and maintain test suite based on newly added or changes in existing functionalities with clear expected results and test data Prioritize and execute test execution based on assigned priorities Identify and assess impact of changes
Leadership & Collaboration
Participate in test strategy and test plan definition Support and peer-review tasks of other QA resources Report testing progress to QA Leads and escalate risks affecting deadlines or quality Propose solutions and improvements to optimize efficiency and reduce costs Provide client support and training as required (possible travel involved)
Experience
Minimum 5 years in QA, including 2 years in a senior role Demonstrate the ability to understand client needs and requirements from a quality assurance and testing perspective, ensuring solutions align with external customer expectations.
