Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 / year
Role & seniority: Middleware Tester; mid-to-senior level; 5–7+ years in Quality Engineering; prior lead experience preferred.

Define and lead test strategy, planning, and QA best practices; ensure standard quality processes are followed.
Conduct end-to-end testing and drive test automation across UI, API, and integration layers; manage defect lifecycle and coverage.
Collaborate with Product Owner, BA, Tech Lead, and Agile team members; mentor QE team; communicate quality status, risks, and dependencies.
Must-have skills: Middleware testing with log validation; strong knowledge of testing processes, SDLC, and Agile/SAFe practices; excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Nice-to-haves: Prior leadership experience; experience in SAFe environments; experience in financial services or FinLabs-like contexts; familiarity with test automation across multiple layers.

Additional Information The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Newark, DE is $90K - $100k/year & benefits (see below).
The Role
Works with project teams to ensure standard quality practices/processes are followed.
Conducts end-to-end testing on applications and technology, to ensure that business, technical, functional requirements are being met.
Designs and Executes test scripts based upon test strategy/plans in an effort to identify defects prior to production.
Define and lead test strategy, planning, and QA best practices.
Drive test automation across UI, API, and integration layers.
Collaborate with PO, BA, Tech Lead, and team members during Agile ceremonies.
Ensure effective test coverage, quality gates, and defect management.
Promote continuous improvement and mentor QE team members.
Communicate quality status, risks, and dependencies clearly.
Requirement
5–7+ years in Quality Engineering; prior lead experience preferred.
Middleware testing- Log validation
Strong knowledge of testing processes, SDLC, and Agile/SAFe practices.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
