Your Job
Join our team as a Test Engineer in Guadalajara, where you will play a key role in supporting and developing the test area to ensure operational continuity, efficiency, and technical excellence. In this role, you will directly contribute to keeping production lines running, troubleshooting issues, and driving improvements through data-driven analysis and technical expertise.
Our Team
You will be part of the OSCO division, collaborating closely with cross‑functional departments to align tester performance, address failures, and maintain world‑class testing standards. Reporting to the Test Engineering Supervisor, you will contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and operational reliability.
What You Will Do
Support daily operations of the test area, ensuring test processes run at 100% performance levels. Report daily activities to your direct supervisor and collaborate across departments to align tester‑related issues. Develop software and integrate hardware solutions for test systems. Perform statistical data analysis, including paretos, box plots, CPK studies, and pivot tables to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Lead daily test meetings with the international team and present analytical findings. Generate failure analysis (FA) reports and present findings to U.S. groups. Manage quoting, purchasing, and follow‑up of multiple procurement activities. Ensure production lines remain operational at any time of the day, providing critical support when required. Conduct root‑cause analysis using established methodologies and tools.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Optoelectronic Engineering or related. 5 years of experience in a test engineering or closely related role. Advanced English proficiency (90%). Experience with software development and hardware integration. Strong analytical skills with experience applying statistical tools in manufacturing environments.
