Top 3 responsibilities

Create and execute diverse test scenarios (functional, reliability, stability/load, performance, security, environmental, voice quality)

Must-have skills

Key Tasks
Create and execute test scenarios including: functional, maintenance/reliability, stability/load, performance, analysis, security, voice quality, and environmental tests Manage test artifacts for assigned Test program(s), including managing feature verification statements, defect reports and test status reports Plan verification strategies and test specifications based on customer and product requirements, software and hardware requirements, and use case scenarios. Identify and fully document any defects/unexpected anomalies identified during testing with instruction of how to recreate the issue Review and interpret system and software requirements from a testability perspective Assist Engineers in reproducing and resolving identified defects Identify and propose areas of improvement throughout the Release process Maintain well organized record of test results and generate historical analysis of test results Communicate technical issues or project details with Release Management and Engineering Work closely with automation, dev ops and integration engineers to help perform root cause analysis of issues found in the test environments
Key Qualifications
BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience (at least 3 years) with IT and telecommunications hardware and software At least 5 years test-related work experience Experience in developing internal and deliverable test plans and test procedures, preferably for mission critical equipment, within a production environment. Ability to write clear and concise test plans and test procedures based on system requirements and clearly document defects. Strong understanding in QA methodology, Agile/Scrum software development processes and project life cycles Experience with bug-tracking systems (e.g., JIRA (preferred)) and Test Management Systems (e.g., JAMA) Strong written and communication skills - ability to communicate progress/problems, test design with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Excellent problem solving, analytical and technical troubleshooting skills Ability to work concurrently on multiple tasks and projects, Ability to work independently and with a team
