Role & seniority: Entry-level/Coordinating role focused on Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) within Reeves Construction (Colas USA); potential Level 1 DOT certifications preferred.
Stack/tools: DOT certification protocols; ability to read, write reports and procedures; interpret technical instructions; workplace safety and QA/QHSE documentation; no specific software listed.
Promote, lead, and monitor QHSE initiatives in line with company policies and safety values.
Ensure compliance with state DOT requirements; obtain and maintain required certifications.
Read, analyze, and communicate safety, quality, and procedural information; prepare reports and present findings.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical materials and DOT specifications.
Strong writing and reporting skills; effective communication with management, clients, and peers.
Basic math and problem-solving abilities; ability to define problems and draw conclusions.
Willingness to obtain/state DOT certifications and to meet state-specific protocols.
Level 1 NC DOT or SC DOT certification.
Prior construction safety/quality experience; familiarity with QA/QC and safety processes.
Comfort working in varied outdoor environments and at heights; physical ability for demanding tasks.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Is responsible for promoting, leading and monitoring the Quality, Health, Safety and Environment approach in line with the Group's primary value, Safety, Ethic’s and organizational related policies.
Education And Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combinations of education and experience. Level 1 certified NC D.O.T. or SC D.O.T certification preferred.
