Gettle is currently seeking an experienced Testing Technician in the electrical field who is motivated to learn, develop new skills, and grow within our Preventative Maintenance group. Candidates with 10 years of relevant experience testing and/or installations are preferred. This role offers the opportunity to expand technical knowledge through hands-on use of various testing equipment while applying a general understanding of Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) procedures and electrical distribution systems.
Testing Technician | Essential Duties/Responsibilities

Able to understand the electrical system, with or without a single line diagram. Understanding of the National Electrical Code. A full understanding of the need and importance of LOTO procedures. Flexibility to work on construction projects as may be required. Must be able to accurately interpret electrical blueprints. Strong communication skills with coworkers and customers. Compliance with all DOT regulations and requirements for DOT drivers. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Other duties as assigned.
Test Technician | Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of apprenticeship program or journeyman license preferred. Three or more years' experience as a commercial or industrial electrician. Valid driver's license and/or valid DOT medical card. Position will include local travel. Overnight travel as required based on projects. Off normal hours required based on a given project. Must be able to navigate customer sites consisting of climbing stairs and ladders. The ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms. Must be able to lift objects up to 80 pounds. Must be able to push and pull up to 100 pounds. Must be able to work in atmospheric conditions such as extreme cold, heat, humidity, and other various weather conditions. Employee may be exposed to moderate noise levels. Able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, and balance. Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
