Assembling hydraulic components
Testing, inspecting, and verifying the performance of hydraulic components, assemblies, and systems to ensure they meet required specifications and safety standards.
Setting up and operating hydraulic test stands, diagnosing system issues, documenting results, and maintaining equipment in proper working condition.
Observing instructions and regulations relating to environmental protection when carrying out assigned duties
Notifying supervisor of any deviations
Maintaining tools and equipment through preventative maintenance activities.
Recommending and implementing value added changes to processes.
Cross-training on other functions within the team.
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment with daily cleaning (5S) activities.
Performing other essential and related peripheral duties as assigned by Team Leader and Group Leader.
1 - 2 years of experience in an assembly or manufacturing environment
College Diploma in Fluid Power Technology or equivalent considered an asset
General knowledge of hydraulic components, including mounting and operation
Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and schematics.
High school diploma is required
Motivate the assembly group through effective service to all key stakeholders
Quality oriented with good communication skills
Organized, ability to multi-task with a strong customer service orientation
A team player, motivated, self-starter who can work effectively with minimal supervision or in a group environment
