Role & seniority: Assessment/Testing Coordinator (experienced, mid-level). Open to current CFISD employees and external applicants.
Stack/tools: Use of Excel (sorting/filters), standard office equipment, testing/admin platforms related to state/federal assessment programs; data integrity and reporting systems.
Coordinate, order materials, train staff, and ensure confidentiality/test security for all assessments.
Maintain data integrity for district/state testing and accountability systems; train/certify staff on procedures.
Interpret and distribute assessment results with campus/building administrators; report to the district/state assessment coordinator; monitor accommodations and schedules.
Effective written and oral communication; strong interpersonal skills.
Proficient Excel usage (sorting/filtering) and strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to train staff and manage multiple testing programs with confidentiality requirements.
Master’s degree preferred; valid Texas teaching certificate; minimum of 3 years classroom teaching experience.
Experience with data reporting and district/state testing workflows.
Location & work type: Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District, Texas. 187-day probationary/term contract period; regular district-wide travel; open to current CFISD employees and external applicants.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from a recognized, accredited college or university, a master’s degree preferred Valid Texas teaching certificate A minimum of three (3) years of successful experience as a classroom teacher is required

Essential Functions
Coordinate, order materials, provide training, and maintain confidentiality and test security for all assessments within the federal and state assessment program platforms. Ensure data integrity as related to district and state testing and accountability systems. Train and maintain staff certification records regarding procedures and guidelines of the federal and state assessment programs. Work with campus staff to identify students’ needs to maintain an appropriate testing program (i.e., accommodations, schedules, etc.). Assist the principal and other building administrators with the interpretation and distribution of all assessment results. Report to the district state assessment coordinator for training and updates. Perform other job-related duties as requested. Regular and reliable attendance is an essential job function.

Effective communication skills, written and oral presentation, and strong interpersonal skills Demonstrated experience in the use of Excel, specifically sorting and filtering spreadsheets Effective organizational skills and attention to detail
