Execute manual and automated functional, integration, regression, and performance tests Create comprehensive test automation scripts from business requirements and functional specifications documents for product features of moderate complexity Maintain automated and manual test script libraries for functional, integration, regression, and performance testing; Interpret results of automation tests and document software defects in issue tracking system Proactively communicate issues with developers and other members Adhere to a testing schedule to ensure efficient and effective product deliver Actively participate in the agile software development process by adhering our standards Significant experience software testing in a process driven technology environment. Demonstrated experience in preparing Test Strategy, Test Plans, Test cases and automated Test Scripts and execution of tests against web, native/ desktop applications, APIs and batch applications Solid work in investment management/fintech Strong experience in manual as well as automated testing - experienced building automation tests using TDD/BDD techniques with tools such as Cucumber (others/different?) with strong SQL skills Demonstrate experience in maintaining automation code and resources in configuration management tools like GitHub/Bitbucket Demonstrate experience in container-based delivery using Docker Demonstrated experience using messaging services like Kafka, Kafka connect, Kafka stream Demonstrated ability translating business requirements into comprehensive functional and technical test plans Strong domain knowledge and expertise in QA manual and automation testing is highly desirable.
