Key Responsibilities
Understand and analyze functional and business requirements to ensure comprehensive test coverage. Prepare detailed test plans, test scenarios, and test cases based on requirements and design documents. Execute manual test cases and report, track, and validate defects through closure. Perform various types of testing including Smoke, Sanity, Regression, Functional, Non-Functional, and UAT. Conduct API testing and validation to ensure backend functionality and data integrity. Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables. Participate in test reviews, requirement discussions, and UAT support activities.
Mandatory Skills
Strong experience in Manual Testing, including requirement analysis, test planning, and test execution. Good understanding of QA Testing concepts such as Smoke, Sanity, Regression, Functional, Non-Functional, and UAT testing. Hands-on experience in API Testing using tools such as Postman. Experience in API Automation using JavaScript or Cypress. Exposure to Database Testing, preferably with Oracle. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
Desirable Skills
Exposure to performance and load testing tools such as JMeter, Locust, or similar. Knowledge or prior experience in the FinTech domain.
