About the Role

We are seeking a Software Quality Assurance Analyst (QA Automation Product Support Engineer) to join our team supporting production and pre-production environments for critical, US-facing applications. This hybrid role blends QA automation, production support, and continuous improvement, ensuring high system availability and performance.

This position involves occasional night support (very rare) and close collaboration with development and testing teams to ensure smooth releases and application stability.

Key Responsibilities

Perform QA assessments and audits across medium to complex projects to ensure compliance with established standards and processes. Conduct shakeout and regression testing using automation frameworks (Selenium) to verify system readiness before and after production releases. Monitor and maintain existing applications, ensuring uptime and reliability in production environments. Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify and resolve issues in pre-production and post-production environments. Fine-tune automation scripts and frameworks for optimal performance in deployment pipelines. Develop and maintain QA documentation, SOPs, and governance reports to support internal and external audits. Provide insights and recommendations for continuous process improvements across QA practices.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (OR 4+ additional years of equivalent professional experience)

Experience: 5+ years in Quality Assurance, Automation Testing, and Production Support roles

Technical Skills

Strong hands-on experience with Selenium and automation frameworks (mandatory) Solid understanding of Agile, Waterfall, and Spiral SDLC methodologies Experience with QA metrics, Quality Gates, and process improvement initiatives Knowledge of application monitoring, issue tracking, and incident management

Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills; ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
